Assassin's Creed 4 Receives First DLC Today

Fans of Assassin's Creed 4, here is some good news to help you start the day right – the first DLC for the gaming franchise is made available already, and do bear in mind that this DLC will concentrate on just the multiplayer aspect, so do not get too excited if you prefer to fly it solo most of the time. The DLC, known as Blackbeard's Wrath, will see the introduction of a trio of new characters to the roster, where they will obviously include the notorious Blackbeard himself, accompanied by a pair of rather stereotypical ethnic characters. The other two choices apart from Blackbeard would be the the Chinese and Aztec Assassins.

2015 Porsche 918 Spyder (video)

"Do not pass the factory driver in the 911 Turbo S.". Fifteen minutes later, I'm skeptically pondering that admonishment as I strap into the carbon-fiber tub of the Porsche 918 Spyder, the German automaker's latest supercar. With even a cursory glance, the two-seat, gasoline-electric hybrid, with a total output of nearly 900 horsepower, looks to be a masterpiece of engineering that qualifies it as not only the most sophisticated machine Porsche has ever built, but also its quickest and fastest road car of all time.
But that doesn't change the fact that I'm an amateur driving an all-new car on an unfamiliar European racing circuit.

Let Your Favorite Tunes Wake You Up With Pandora For iOS

Waking up can be quite a difficult task at hand, especially when you consider how the weather outside seems to be so fine for sleeping in. Many of us use the alarm clock function on our smartphones to help us get out of bed, and without a Snooze function in the alarm clock, life could get pretty tough. Instead of listening to the usual ring or din, how about letting you greet the day with your favorite tunes. The latest update to the Pandora for iOS app would enable you to do so, where after downloading this update from iTunes, you can make use of the built-in alarm clock.

Did KitKat India cheat Indian contestants out of a 2013 Nexus 7?

An interesting story brewed over this past weekend, with one group of Android and KitKat-loving customers apparently getting the shaft in a contest that they believed could net them a 2013 Nexus 7. We're talking about our friends in India, who were treated to the same Nexus 7 contest that folks in the likes of the United States, Canada and across Europe were. Unfortunately, it appears the contests weren't as similar as we originally thought.

Ferrari 458 Speciale already sold out for first year

Ferrari tends to sell its models out extremely quickly – its wait lists are the stuff of legend. That's especially true when the cars in question are of the fastest or most exclusive variety. If new reports are to be believed, Maranello has already sold the entire 499-unit production run of its new LaFerrari hypercar, and now Australia's Motoring is claiming that Ferrari has also filled its order book for the entire first year's production run of its new 458 Speciale. For those unfamiliar, the 458 Speciale follows in a proud line of hardcore mid-engined V8 Ferraris in the footsteps of the 360 Challenge Stradale and 430 Scuderia.

T-Mobile LG Optimus F3Q QWERTY Slider Leaked

There was once a time when QWERTY sliders were quite popular, but that time is long gone. Its all about full touchscreen displays now and physical keyboards aren't expected to regain their lost dominance anytime soon. However, that probably won't stop some manufacturers from making keyboard touting smartphones. LG appears to have a QWERTY slider for T-Mobile up its sleeve, called the LG Optimus F3Q. A press shot of the smartphone has leaked online.
The press shot comes from well known Twitter leaker @evleaks, who is known for being right when it comes to these things.

No Glasses 3D Tablet Makes 3D Viewing More Convenient

We all know just how 3D movies made quite a buzz a few years ago when Avatar hit the silver screen. The thing is, there were not too many 3D movies after that which really managed to capture the rapt attention of the audience, and it has become a gimmick rather than a necessity. The Nintendo 3DS too, tried to ride on the 3D bandwagon where portable gaming is concerned, but it has not really taken off in a big way to make it a “must have” item despite the fact that you do not need to wear a pair of 3D glasses when playing.

Docomo Safety Mode Might Just Save Your Life

With the number of engaging apps on our mobile devices these days, it is extremely easy to get “lost” in them. For instance, just pay attention to any metropolitan area by sitting at the sidewalk with a cuppa, and see how many people actually do not really see where they are going. Rather, they would most probably be holding their smartphone with one or both hands, texting or sending some sort of update, or even talking on their mobiles, all without paying much attention to what is going on around.

Having gone unannounced until now, the Samsung Galaxy Win Pro has popped up on the Korean manufacturer's China web portal today. The Win Pro retains the midrange pedigree of its predecessor, the Galaxy Win, but to a lesser degree thanks to its 4.5-inch qHD display. Otherwise, the specifications are for the most part identical between the two devices: a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 5MP camera, and optional dual-SIM support.
