Looks like Google is officially going full steam ahead with Google Glass — or, as we say in the hood, hard in the paint. There have already been a few walkthrough videos popping up online and attempting to show off Glass' user interface which, up until recently, has been all but a mystery to most of us. To better give users a better idea of what the future will be like looking through Glass, ‘ol Googs took to the official Project Glass YouTube channel and uploaded their first video dubbed “Glass How-to: Getting Started.”.

It's a date: Samsung and Apple return to court November 12th

Things have been a bit quiet on the Samsung vs Apple front as of late, but that's not because the two sides don't still hate each other's guts. The last big happening surrounding this case was Judge Lucy Koh's major adjustment of the damages Samsung owed Apple for patent infringement. The original judgment awarded the Cupertino company $1.05 billion in damages, but after Koh's decision was overturned by higher powers she adjusted that early figure to just over $450 million. More work needs to be done to adjust that figure, though, as the claims are now only limited to the 13 Samsung devices originally brought into the trial.

Nielsen Will Soon Launch Program That Counts Internet TV Viewers

Nielsen Will Soon Launch Program That Counts Internet TV Viewers

Watching TV has gone beyond sitting in front of your television screen to watch a show as it is aired as the inclusion of DVRs and online streams have made it possible to watch a new episode of your favorite show at any time. That's why the Wall Street Journal's report of Nielsen possibly launching a digital program to cover Internet streaming makes complete sense. According to the WSJ, Nielsen's TV ratings system will soon be able to count Internet views through its “Nielsen Digital Program Ratings” pilot program.

Make Skype Calls Straight From Your Outlook.com Inbox

Microsoft, the company that owns Skype after forking out a rather hefty sum for it (and subsequently bid adieu to their Windows Live Messenger program), has made sure that there is an even greater level of integration between their own software range, and the latest is this – Outlook.com, which was launched last summer, will now allow you to make Skype calls directly from your inbox. Yes sir, from today onwards, Microsoft began to introduce a preview version of Skype for Outlook.com, where both communication experiences are now brought together in a single place.

Verizon Cloud Backup Service Arrives On Android, With iOS In Its Sights

Mention the word "cloud" to a 60 year old, and he or she will give you a very different definition to that of the younger, tech savvy generation. After all, many of us work from the cloud itself right now. Just ask yourself, how many important documents have you stashed away onto Google Drive by now. Well, smartphone owners are definitely not "suffering" from the issue of not having enough cloud-based safety nets, considering the range of options available via the likes of Google, iCloud, or other file sync providers.

Vulnerability In Adobe Reader Discovered By McAfee

Vulnerability In Adobe Reader Discovered By McAfee

A new vulnerability has been discovered in Adobe Reader by security firm McAfee. The vulnerability makes it possible for people to see how a PDF file has been used. This un-patched security issue exists in every version of Adobe Reader, according to Haifei Li of McAfee. The latest sandboxed Adobe Reader XI, version 11.0.2, also has this vulnerability. It doesn't allow code execution, meaning that this flaw isn't a problem that should set off alarm bells, but it could pose a certain kind of threat. The vulnerability only allows a sender to see where and when a PDF file has been opened. It is not entirely harmless as well.

Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 review

Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 review

Normally, when a company releases two laptops in different sizes (the MacBook Air, anyone?) we review just one: we assume you'll get the gist about the design and trackpad the first time, ya know. So it's funny, then, that we're taking a look at the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 after we've already tested the Yoga 13 and named it one of our favorite Windows 8 convertibles. They look alike, with an inventive hinge allowing you to fold the screen back like a book cover. The keyboards are the same too, though the 11-incher's is understandably a tad more crowded. They even have the same oddly shaped power port.

Living with Glass, Day Four: Canyon Carving

Finally, the flash of newness is wearing off. It's taken a few days, but the initial novelty of Glass, enjoying wearing it simply because I could wear it, is running thin. The haze of new gadget excitement is clearing and we can truly get down to brass tacks - but that doesn't mean I'm not having fun. In fact I've had the opportunity to take Glass with me to do something very fun indeed: ride a Ducati 848 Streetfighter on some of the most amazing roads in the world.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Teardown Confirms It Is Easier To Repair

Samsung Galaxy S4 Teardown Confirms It Is Easier To Repair

The folks over at iFixit regularly post detailed teardowns of the most latest gadgets. Naturally, the Samsung Galaxy S4 was to go under their knife as well, and so it has. Their teardown reveals that the device is actually much more easier to repair than its counterparts such as iPhone 5 and HTC One. It is this way because the Galaxy S4 has a battery that can be removed and standard screws, that once unscrewed, give access to the internals. The S4 may lack design aesthetics of its competitors, but it is easier to repair, this could be an added plus for prospective customers who like to pop open their smartphones once in a while.

Putting Zoe and other camera features on the HTC One to good use

Many of you in the US will be receiving your new HTC One today and everyone has heard about the amazing camera features that will soon be in your hands so we want to highlight an article recently posted on the HTC Blog with some tips and tricks for creating good media with the HTC One. First of all, HTC has changed directions and is heading away from the megapixel race that many other manufacturers are competing in for highest pixel count. The rear camera on the HTC One actually has a maximum capability of shooting at 4 MP's, but each pixel is larger than a traditional pixel to allow for more natural light.

Earlier today we reported that T-Mobile Galaxy S4 had been delayed till April 29 and that Sprint too had announced Galaxy S4 delay. Both of these carriers will begin online sales first, there's no word as yet when the device will reach their retail stores. Now Samsung has issued an official statement explaining that Galaxy S4 supplies are constrained because of the huge global demand. The company says that initial demand may be limited though it hopes to fulfill demands in the coming weeks. We've normally seen supplies of Apple products being constrained as the Cupertino outfit depends upon various companies for components.

The name Horki comes from the combination of two Chinese characters "Hor" and "Ki," which translates to "China driving." Bentley poised to join four-door coupe game?

Bentley may be all hot and bothered with plans for its finally approved ultra-lux SUV, but the marque's attentions may not solely be limited to a two-box range expansion. That's according to AutoExpress, which quotes company CEO Wolfgang Schreiber as being interested in launching a 'four-door coupe' variant of its popular Continental range (pictured). According to Schrieber, "I definitely wouldn't say no to the idea. with the new Flying Spur, we have a model that supports the Mulsanne, and a coupe with four doors could sit above that.".

Kids' iPad Magazine Offers A New In-App Purchasing Model To Help Curb Accidental Overspending

We know that parents aren't too fond of the in-app purchasing system on the iTunes App Store as more often than not it leads to high credit card bills when you least expect it. For the most part the kids don't know what they are doing and probably think if the app is free, so is everything else in it. While there are ways to curb in-app spending, such as through parental controls and etc., kids' iPad magazine Timbuktu might have a more creative solution. Previously the app made the use of in-app purchases a bit too easy for kids, and all kids had to do was pop the little virtual bubbles to make purchases.

Guns and the right to bear arms is an extremely touchy subject, especially for folks living in the US. The thing is, we have seen our fair share of tragedies borne out on TV because of mindless and senseless killings, where even teenagers were able to obtain firearms and run amok with them, be it at campuses or in a movie theater. Well, it seems that the Facebook fan page for Pittsburgh Tactical Firearm has been shut down by the powers-that-be at Facebook. The thing is, not only was the main page shuttered, but the second page which begun as a replacement for the first was killed off, too.

Remember the other day we reported that Nokia Malaysia teased a possible announcement on the 25th of April. We speculated that it might be tied in to the Lumia 928's rumored launch, although it did not make sense since the Lumia 928 was rumored to be a Verizon exclusive. Either way it seems that Nokia themselves have revealed yet another teaser, this time with an image of a device (pictured above) which appears to be a handset with a possible QWERTY keyboard attached to it. Since the announcement is set for 7am GMT on the 24th of April, due to the time difference it is possible that it will already be the 25th of April in Malaysia.
