Cop lets speeding G55 AMG driver go on Thanksgiving in exchange for revving engine

Cop lets speeding G55 AMG driver go on Thanksgiving in exchange for revving engine

The holiday spirit is infectious, it seems, even for police officers. And, after watching this video, we're quite sure that the driver and passenger of the Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG are thankful that the Thanksgiving spirit spread long and far enough to cover a speeding ticket in exchange for a blip of the throttle. After pulling the two men over, the unnamed police officer, who appears to be writing the ticket as he's making conversation, asks the driver what kind of car he's driving. After finding out what it is, what it's powered by and how expensive it is, he casually tells the in-car duo to slow down and drive safely...

Verizon marks down full priced LG G2, HTC One Max, Motorola Droid Ultra by as much as $100

We're not sure if it's simply a coincidence that Verizon happened to mark down the full, off-contract prices of a few of their handsets on Black Friday, but take it as you will. Jumping onto Verizon's site, you'll notice the LG G2 and HTC One Max can now be purchased for $500 outright, while the Motorola DROID Ultra has been discounted to $450. For those keeping track, that's about a hundred bucks off. We're not sure how long this will last, as it doesn't appear to be apart of any temporary Black Friday sale.

EA VP: PS5 And Xbox Two To Launch In 5, 6 Years' Time

The dust has yet to settle after the two titans of console gaming, the Sony PS4 as well as the Xbox One, were launched recently, and both of them have also managed to sell more than a million units each in under 24 hours. The PS4 itself was launched a good seven years after the PS3 rolled out, and for the Xbox One, it has been eight long years since the Xbox 360 actually went on sale. EA Studios executive vice president Patrick Söderlund shared, “This console cycle may have gone on a little bit longer than I would have wanted… a five, six year gap is what I expect going forward.".

This particular device had its photos leaked, and it does seem as though this handset will run on the MediaTek MT6592 processor, which has been touted to be the first "true" octa-core processor, where all eight cores are able to be active simultaneously, now how about that. Who knows, the Huawei G750 could very well be the exact same device that is known as the Huawei Glory 4, which is also touted to feature the very same MT6592 processor within.

Nokia Asha 502 Dual SIM and Asha 503 go on sale

Nokia put two Asha 50x phones on sale – the 502 Dual SIM and the 503. The two are based on the Asha 501 design, but add a transparent outer layer on the back (while being every bit as colorful underneath). The Nokia Asha 502 Dual SIM improves the phone's photography skills by bumping the camera to 5MP and adding an LED flash. The video recording is still at the abysmal QVGA@15fps, though.

As the name suggests, it comes only in dual-SIM. This model has only 2G connectivity, but Wi-Fi is available and so is WhatsApp. Note that the Asha 502 has a slightly smaller battery.

The Nokia Asha 503 comes in single- and dual-SIM versions.

BetterMe App Will Shame You Into Completing What You're Supposed To Do

We've all made excuses as to why we aren't doing the things that we're supposed to do. For example we claim we're too tired/busy to go the gym when in reality we're just too lazy, and one of the things we can do about that is by motivating ourselves to get off our chairs and actually set out to do what we said we would. If you're the type that finds it hard to be self-motivated, perhaps the BetterMe app might be an app worth checking out. BetterMe is essentially a to-do app where instead of just setting the time of the task you're supposed to accomplish, it relies on a GPS check-in system as well.

Leno profiles Pebble Beach-winning 1956 Maserati

We enjoy it when Jay Leno and his web show, Jay Leno's Garage, take a look at new, modern cars. When the comedian gets his paws on a proper classic, though, he's at his best. Leno is able to display an impressive breadth of knowledge about even obscure models, and that's no different here, as the winner of its class at the 2011 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, a 1956 Maserati A6G-2000 Allemano rolls into the garage. Part of the Maserati A6 family, this A6G is one of just 21 cars produced with coachwork by Carrozzeria Allemano, making it one of the rarer cars to grace Jay Leno's Garage.

Drift's new Ghost S action camera is tough, feature-rich and ready to take on the competition (hands-on)

To look at, the Drift design language sits somewhere between the tubular/shotgun stylings of Contour, iON et al, and the square block of a GoPro. The design might give you the impression it leans more towards being a classic "helmet" cam, but a 300-degree rotating lens means it's still suited to a variety of situations and mount positions. It sports a regular tripod thread too, so you can use a bevy of existing equipment, including some that you might already own.

Hands-on with the G Flex, LG's first curved smartphone

The G Flex has been referred to as "the banana phone" more than once, and that nickname would certainly fit the description. Compared to the Galaxy Round, which features a short contour from left to right, the Flex's three-dimension reach is far more noticeable because it arcs from top to bottom - yes, exactly like the tropical treat. From a high-level view, it looks a lot like a large LG G2 that sagged in the middle, but as you might imagine, there's a lot more to it than that. First, let's dive into the display, which is a 6-inch, 720p Plastic OLED (POLED) panel with a pixel density of 245 ppi.

Microsoft Makes $28 Per Xbox One Sold As It Costs $471 To Build

We recently learned the PlayStation 4 only costs a total of $381 to build, which means its current selling price of $399 allows Sony to rake in just $18 per console that's sold. Now that the Xbox One is out in the wild, IHS has once again estimated what it costs to build Microsoft's next-generation console, and it looks like the company isn't making much money with the sale of each console either. IHS believes the combined parts and manufacturing of everything that comes within a retail box of the Xbox One, which includes the console, the Xbox One Kinect and the Xbox One controller, costs a total of $471.

As it stands, there are speakers and systems already available in the market support WiFi streaming from mobile devices to speakers, allowing you to adjust your music's volume or playback wherever you are in the house, and change songs when you feel like it without having to get up and to go the computer or to your hi-fi. Of course some of these systems require you to buy new speakers that are compatible for such wireless streaming, but what if you had a pair of really old, but amazing speakers that you'd rather not give up. That's pretty much where the ROCKI WiFi Music System comes into play.

When Nokia agreed to sell its cellphone division to Microsoft, it was almost like a match made in heaven. After all Nokia was probably Microsoft's biggest support as far as Windows Phone devices were concerned, and with the company commanding a whopping 90% of the Windows Phone market, it sort of made sense.  While the majority of Nokia shareholders approved the deal, there were some who weren't too happy about it and criticized Nokia's then CEO, Stephen Elop. In an interview with the South China Morning Post, Nokia's Chairman not only defends the company's decision to sell, but also Stephen Elop.

I've got a confession to make: I still have a Yahoo. Mail account. You know how it goes, you're young and stupid, typically choose a cool (soon to be lame) username, and end up giving it to some very important contacts. Contacts you want to maintain possibly for the rest of your life.
I don't particularly use the account, and I don't even remember the last time I needed to sign in. But whenever I think of it, there's a bit of me that is worried for a simple reason: I don't keep the account connected on my phone. The reason for that is I haven't been a fan of any of the E-mail apps out there.
