Introduced in Fanfare on October 18th 2011, the Droid RAZR is a poster-child for the second generation of 4G LTE smartphones. It is much lighter and much faster than the first generation, which arrived on the market in the Spring of 2011. At the same time, Motorola has taken this opportunity to resurrect RAZR, a brand that was a hallmark of Motorola's know-how in the 1990s. And razor-thin it is, at least in at its thinnest part, which is a mere 7.1mm thick.
