[CES 2012] CES 2012 is the platform for Phorus to roll out their PlayCast wireless audio dock that caters for Android devices, and this is the first wireless home audio speaker of its kind that was developed from ground up for the Android platform. Phorus claims that the PlayCast streams music with pristine, lossless audio quality while riding piggyback on a Wi-Fi connection to premium PlayCast Speakers as long as the device runs on the Android operating system – it does not matter whether that is a smartphone or tablet.
