My D-SLR camera, Nikon D7000, still uses SDHC card. It has two card slots, and I fill each slot with SanDisk 16GB SDHC card which has maximum speed of up to 15MB/s. So now I have 32GB storage for my camera. Is that enough. It's not, getting out of storage space are very common when I choose RAW file format. A 1 RAW file is about 20MB, it's a very large file, isn't it? I don't use my camera for video recording very often, HD movie recording will eat my storage even faster.
