Gigabyte today unveiled the U2442 ultrabook series, which is available in two different models namely the U2442V and U2442N. The U2442V is powered by a 3rd generation Intel Core i5/i7 ULV processor, while the U2442N features a 3rd generation Intel Core i5/i7 standard voltage processor. Both ultrabooks feature a 14-inch HD+ LED backlit display with a 1600 x 900 pixels resolution, a choice of a 7200rpm HDD or a fast SSD, a backlit keyboard, two USB 3.0 ports, Bluetooth 4.0, an optional Thunderbolt and Wi-Fi connectivity. Additional specs include a 2GB nVidia GeForce GTX 660M GPU. Unfortunately, there is no info on pricing at this time.
