Samsung has filed a new lawsuit in South Korea claiming that Apple's iPhone 4S and iPad 2 infringe on three of the company's utility patents. So much for coming to terms on a licensing agreement. The suit, filed Tuesday in a Seoul court, alleges that Apple has copied Samsung's proprietary display method for show showing data, the user interface, and short text messages. The suit is just the latest in a series of 30 back-and-forth legal spats in 10 different countries. A report surface yesterday that suggested Apple would be willing to abandon their attempts to sue Samsung out of business in exchange for $5 to $15 per Android handset sold.
