Sony Xperia Sola hits the FCC with AT&T 3G in tow

Sony Xperia Sola hits the FCC with AT&T 3G in tow

One of Sony's newest Android smartphones, the Xperia Sola, has been approved by the FCC just moments ago. The unit approved comes with AT&T-specific 3G (850 and 1900 MHz), so it could be released by the carrier in the US. It could also be introduced in Canada by all three major mobile operators (Rogers, Bell, Telus). Of course, it remains to be seen if any of these companies is actually interested to offer the handset.
