
If you've missed Archos and its Android devices, you should be happy to find out that the French company has announced a brand new tablet, dubbed Archos 97 Carbon. The 97 Carbon is the first from a new series of entry-level tablets called Archos Elements. It runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and comes with "an elegant aluminum finish." The tablet features a 9.7 inch IPS display with 1024 x 768 pixels, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 2MP rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, HDMI-out port, full-sized USB port, 1GHz single-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, and MicroSD card support.
