Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Note 2 phone/tablet hybrid will face some tough competition from day one. And it will come from another Korean company, LG. It's planning to announce and release the Optimus Vu 2 on a time frame that's incredibly similar to what Samsung has cooked up for the Galaxy Note 2. We've heard before, and now we have one more rumored confirmation, that the Galaxy Note 2 will be announced around the time that IFA takes place in Berlin at the end of August or beginning of September. It turns out it's going to be just before IFA starts (so possibly on August 30).
