Samsung (005930) and AT&T (T) announced on Thursday its Android-powered point and shoot Galaxy Camera, first revealed at IFA in Berlin will be headed to AT&T in the U.S. with “4G” HSPA+ data on board. The Galaxy Camera will not support LTE data speeds. The Galaxy Camera is the first compact camera to integrate Android 4.1 Jelly Bean as its interface to allow for instant photo uploads and sharing to a variety of social networks through Android apps. The camera boasts a 16-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, a 4.8-inch HD Super Clear LCD, 1GHz quad-core processor and 21x zoom lens.
