So we know that thanks to an ad, Motorola's Moto X smartphone will be customizable to a certain extent, and it seems that along with that, it is possible that the Moto X will not be known as a "Droid" device if and when it arrives on Verizon's network. This is according to the folks at The Verge who were told by their sources that the phone will remain as the Moto X even if it were to arrive on Verizon. In the past Motorola devices that have made its way onto Verizon's network have borne the "Droid" moniker, such as the Droid RAZR, Droid RAZR Maxx, and even the Droid Ultra which was recently outed on Motorola's official landing page.
