Panasonic upgrade its ToughBook C1 with faster CPU

Launched last year in Japan the ToughBook C1 or Let's Note CF-C1 multitouch screen convertible notebook has been announced in the USA with an improved CPU and enhanced battery life. Panasonic swap the good old first gen Core i5-520M vPRO CPU for a more powerful and power efficient Sandy Bridge Core i5-2520M vPro at 2.5GHz and up to 3.2GHz in Turbo Boost II Mode, as well as featuring a larger 7200rpm HDD of 320GB or optional 128GB SSD instead of the previous 250GB one and with finally an improved battery life of 12h maximum thanks to a pair of hot-swappable batteries giving 6h of juice each.
