A group of scientists in University of Washington in Seattle introduces a new type of contact lenses that can project images in front of the eyes. Wearers would be able to read floating texts and e-mails, as well as augment their sense of sight with computer-generated images. This Terminator-style technology has undergone trials on rabbits, which so far show the lenses are safe and feasible. There are, however, some issues to be resolved such as finding an effective power source.
