Transcend, the company known for its storage and multimedia products have announced their latest addition to its line-up of solid state drives (SSDs). The SSD has been named the PSD320 measures 2.5" and has been designed to replace traditional 2.5x44-pin PATA hard disk drives. According to their press release, the PSD320 is a value-priced solution that gives older systems the ability to upgrade to the enhanced performance and reliability benefits of Solid-State technology which Transcend seem to have taken seriously given its previous forages into the SSD territory.
