The Samsung Galaxy Stellar has been officially announced by Verizon today. The phone, previously codenamed Jasper, is going to be out on September 6 – this Thursday. In spite of one rumor's claim that the Stellar would be priced at $99.99, the device will in fact be free after a $50 mail-in rebate.
