On US Airways, your phone is your boarding pass

On US Airways, your phone is your boarding pass

Ah, going off to the airport is always a special kind of experience, what with all the stress of packing, forgetting to bring something to your destination, and those long check-in queues that tend to happen whenever you are in a hurry. US Airways intends to speed up the check-in process by introducing mobile boarding pass technology from NCR Corporation, so whatever you see up there might soon go the way of the dodo. Upon check-in, you will be on the receiving end of an email that holds a digitally signed and encrypted 2D bar code which will play nice with current imager-based airport scanners and boarding gate readers.
