HP TouchPad will be available in Australia on August 15

HP TouchPad will be available in Australia on August 15

The HP TouchPad, the company's first webOS-based tablet, is already available in North America and in some European markets. So it's expected that it will slowly make its way to other territories. After all, one of HP's key strengths is distribution, so it may as well sell the TouchPad in as many countries as it can. One place that hasn't yet seen an official release of HP's tablet is Australia. However, that will change on August 15, when the TouchPad will become available over there.

It won't be cheap. The 16 GB model will retail for $599, and the 32 GB version will be $699.

Unwired View, HP TouchPad will be available in Australia on August 15
