Nokia N9 and N5 approved by the FCC

Nokia N9 and N5 approved by the FCC

Two new Nokia smartphones have been approved by the FCC recently – and before you get too excited, let us inform you that neither of them is a Windows device. The smartphones are the MeeGo-based Nokia N9 (which was officially announced last month), and the Symbian Anna-based Nokia N5, aka Nokia RM-701 (which hasn't been announced yet). Both the N9 and N5 come with US-friendly 3G connectivity (850x1700x1900 MHz), so, theoretically, they could be launched by AT&T or T-Mobile.
