Softbank launches Hello Kitty Android smartphone in Japan

Softbank launches Hello Kitty Android smartphone in Japan

Hello Kitty seems to be a huge deal all over the world, more so in Japan where it originated from, so much so that Japan carrier, Softbank, decided to get Hello Kitty up to date with its very own Android device, making it the first Hello Kitty to be run on the Android platform. In terms of design, Softbank has referred to it as being discreet, and we guess what they meant was that it wasn't plastered all over with huge Hello Kitty drawings, which we're assuming would be great for those who are older and still a fan of the brand, but at the same time want to avoid splashy, colorful images.
