Nokia might be on the ropes at the moment – but that does not mean the Finnish phone giant is about to throw in the towel. No sir, it seems that Nokia's working on an internal project known as "Meltemi", where this new software is said to power its range of upcoming low-end and entry-level handsets. Mary McDowell, Nokia's executive vice president in charge of phones, is said to spearhead this project, although Nokia decidedly remained mum on the new project or its future plans.
