Our smartphone cameras are pretty good at taking decent photos these days. Unfortunately the flash on our cameras leave a lot to be desired as many photographers will attest, so what does one do when they want better quality images but don't want to fork out the money for a fancy camera setup. The Kick Kickstarter project comes to mind. As pictured above, this device is a handheld camera light that allows for more natural and softer illumination compared to the harshness of our phone's camera flash.
It comes in two different options, the Basic and the Plus version.
