Karbonn Mobiles has released a new Android smartphone for the Indian market called the Karbonn A5+. The handset is now available to buy in India via Infibeam for only Rs 4,899 outright (about $89). Specs-wise, the A5+ packs a 3.5-inch 480 x 320 capacitive touchscreen display, a 1GHz single-core processor, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), dual SIM card slots (GSM+GSM), a 3MP rear-facing camera, HSDPA, WiFi, a 1420mAh battery and runs on Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread OS.
