McLaren is making a habit of showing off the capabilities of its Special Operations department here at The Quail, during the Pebble Beach weekend. Last year the Special Ops folks brought us the tremendously cool McLaren X-1, while this year they've rolled in with a pair of customized MP4-12C Spiders that are all dressed up to party with the blue bloods. Upgrades to the Macs are nearly all cosmetic, we were told, but unfortunately the company hasn't given us a detailed list of changes to the brace of Spiders.
