Currently available only in the US where AT&T is selling it for $299.99 on contract (or $659.99 without contract), the Nokia Lumia 1020 is about to make its debut in other markets around the world. In the UK, the new Windows Phone 8 handset should be available starting next month (September). British retailer Unlocked-mobiles is the only one that's listing a price for the 1020: £549.98 (meaning about €637, or $844). That's a lot of money, of course, but Nokia and Microsoft believe that the 41MP PureView camera alongside the other features of the Lumia 1020 are worth it.
