A new Sony Android smartphone has been uncovered today. The Xperia ST27i/ST27a, codenamed Lotus, has had some of its details leaked via user agent profiles found on Sony's website. The Lotus may be the successor to the Sony Ericsson Xperia Active, a ruggedized smartphone that bears the model number ST17i/ST17a.
As usual with Sony (or Sony Ericsson) smartphones, the final letter in the model number indicates that there will be two versions of the device, with two different radios.
