Earlier this month, Sprint announced that its HTC Evo 4G LTE would be released on May 18, hence today. Things have changed since then, though, and the new handset will certainly not be available starting today. It's been delayed. But it's not Sprint's fault.
According to the third largest US carrier, HTC issued this statement on the matter:
"The US availability of HTC One X and HTC EVO 4G LTE has been delayed due to a standard U.S. Customs review of shipments that is required after an ITC exclusion order. We believe we are in compliance with the ruling and HTC is working closely with Customs to secure approval.
