One of the unique features of the Nintendo Wii U is its GamePad. In case you're not sure what this is, it basically provides Wii U players with a secondary display. This display can be used to display additional information from the game, or it can even be used to play the game itself when the TV is in use. Given that everyone has pretty much associated the GamePad with the Wii U, it's hard to imagine the console without it, and according to Nintendo's president, Satoru Iwata, that nearly happened.
