Nokia, despite having seen their global market share slide dramatically over the past few years with the rise of smartphones, is still a juggernaut as they are the world's largest cellphone maker by volume. Well, their corporate size has no bearing in Australi, as the Finnish company was fined $58,000 for sending spam texts to customers by Australian regulators, and Nokia has been informed to change their text message (SMS) marketing in order to prevent something similar from happening down the road.
