Drayson Racing Technologies Breaks World Land Speed Record For Electric Cars

Records are meant to be broken, or at least this is what many of us aspire to do. After all, it does give out a sense of purpose to begin with – and a goal is a powerful catalyst to spur one to move forward in full confidence. Having said that, it seems that there is a new world land speed record for a lightweight electric car, thanks to Drayson Racing's Lola B12 69/EV vehicle that managed to achieve a top speed of 204.2mph (328.6km/h) over at a racetrack at RAF Elvington in Yorkshire.
