It was not too long ago when we speculated that the Sony Xperia S smartphone would be on the receiving end of the long awaited Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update, but we were let down as the Jelly Bean update did not arrive as promised. Good to know that the disappointment did not last too long, as the folks over at Sony Mobile did release the Xperia S Jelly Bean update shortly after that downer, and it seems that there is a new Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean firmware for Xperia S (LT26i) owners in tow, too.
